Gambale Traction

BENEFITS:  PERFORMED TO INCREASE THE CURVES IN THE CERVICAL AND LUMBAR REGIONS OF THE SPINE.

POSITION:

- On the floor

TIME:

- 20 minutes

WHEN:

- In the evening directly before going to bed

- Before gambale extension, if prescribed

HOW:

- Always do spinal molding warm-ups first while on the wobble chair or sitting on the edge of a bed

- You will be on your back for this exercise

- The curved bar is under your neck and at the base of your neck

- The strap is to be placed across the forehead

- Your knees are bent the entire time

- Place the plastic foot bar at the arches of your feet. You will control the tension by pressing your feet away from your body to your point of comfort

- You should feel a slight discomfort in the neck and stretch in the throat

- Hold this position for 20 minutes.
